Nokia 1209 cell phone photos features reviews

The second model introduced today, the Nokia 1209, offers additional cost management features to make phone sharing easy and convenient. Innovations include the pre-paid tracker, a cost-tracking application, and the multiple phonebook - which allows up to five people to store personal contact lists of up to two hundred numbers on a single phone. Designed for first time buyers, the Nokia 1209 incorporates Nokia's intuitive user interface, dust resistance, and offers up to 80 languages. The Nokia 1209 also has a one-piece key mat for durability and reliability

The highlight of Nokia 2600 is that it offers exchangeable covers for mobile personalization while Nokia 1209 provides multiple phone books exclusively for phone sharing.

“Nokia is consistently working towards understanding consumer needs and aspirations and bringing out devices that fulfill these requirements,” says Devinder Kishore Director, Marketing, Nokia India.
A trend of ‘phone sharing’ has been noticed in South Asia after feedbacks from respondents revealed that almost 50% of Indians and Pakistanis and 30% of Vietnamese would like to or they do share their phones with family and friends. The statistics have been determined as a contrasting one in comparison with consumer behaviour in ‘mature markets’.
Phone sharing is a logical trend – more and more families are purchasing a mobile phone for the entire family to use, not just the head of the household. In addition, digital cameras are quickly becoming more popular in these markets, and as such taking and sharing digital images is becoming more common,” adds Kishore. “In response, Nokia has developed a number of innovative features like the multiple phonebook to support phone sharing, and we have added technologies like Bluetooth to some models to make transferring images and ringtones easy and affordable.”
# Customisable with colorful, fully changeable Xpress-on covers and MP3 ring tones
# Entertainment features, including an integrated FM radio and a VGA camera
# Supports MMS and Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging, for recording and editing messages on the go

Fly DS150

The Fly DS 150 X-Life has a terraced alphanumeric keypad which offers nice touch orientation but we are sad to say that the keypad is hard to use. Typing fast is likely to cause a lot of typos on account of the small keys that it possesses. In a dark environment, users will note that the keypad lighting is not even. Especially among those keys that are in the left most column.

The sides of the phones are bare except for a dedicated torch light button. At the top of the phone the LED light that is activated by this button and at the bottom is the universal USB port. The back of the phone is plain much like the front but looks good. It also houses the CIF camera unit. Talking about the phone’s build, it feels good in the hand and is very pocket friendly. The plastics employed are nice and the build quality is good as the handset does not produce any squeaks.

blackberry storm 9500 wallpapers

The touch-sensitive panel is clearly the most interesting thing on the BlackBerry Storm. It's a 3.25" 480 x 360 pixel panel that apparently gives user's the feeling of pressing down on a real key, which then lights up. Other companies (notably Motorola) do this using a technology called "haptics", exactly how the 9500 improves on this is not clear.

BlackBerry devices are all about messaging, and yet there's no physical keyboard on the 9500. RIM's approach is to use an on-screen keyboard, but cleverly they have two distinct versions - a SureType virtual keyboard (as found on the BlackBerry Pearl) is used in portrait (tall) mode, with a larger QWERTY keyboard for use in landscape (wide) mode. The Storm automatically switches between modes when rotated, so if you suddenly find that you need to do some more intensive typing than the SureType arrangement allows then it's a hassle-free transition.

Blackberry Storm 9500 with features

The 9500 Storm is the first Touch Screen Phone from RIM & features a 3.3 inch Touch Screen having a resolution of 360 x 480. It has tri-band 3G with HSDPA and Quad-band GSM support making it capable of global roaming. The 9500 Storm is running on a 624 MHz CPU and has 192 MB of RAM. It utilizes a new version of the BlackBerry OS, optimized for touchscreen input.

Some of the other extras include a built-in GPS (with A-GPS functionality), microSD card slot with support for up to 8GB cards and a 3.5mm standard audio jack for plugging your own custom headphones. The 9500 Storm measures 112.5 x 62.2 x 13.9 mm and is also quite thin.

The great thing about the Storm is that it features True Haptics in it's Touch Screen which offers physical response to user's input on the screen. It feels just like when pressing a physical button. Along with that, the phone also vibrates a little to tell the user that the input has been made.
